A female patient, who suffered from ovarian cancer, received surgical operation and chemotherapy, but she had a lingering fever and was at her last gasp. At that time, the hospital refused to treat her for there was nothing the doctor could do about her disease.

I was invited to give her a treatment. the patient was then dying, along with a fever, thirst, dysuria and also a bitter taste in the mouth and poor appetite.

Based on her presentation, I used Chailing decoction. after five doses of the medication were given, all her symptoms were much relieved and, after ten doses later, the patient looked like a completely different person. then, a modofied Chailing decoction was made for her condition.

After she took the medication for over one month, her condition was stable. Gradually, her life went back to normal again and she lived another ten years.

豆芽样的洋码子太多，真是费了心。想必洋徒弟也只是看个热闹，更觉得中医“莫大精深”，惊叹于一堆不知名的花花草草就能治病了。
同方不同病，同病不同方。恰如方与病，对应门和室。开了门，各室堆放的杂物未必一样。

这是温兴韬医师的一则医案，一张普通的柴苓汤，能够使人起死回生，读后令人啧啧称奇，顺便也想与老外们分享一下，仅此而已。

一位患有卵巢癌的女性患者接受了外科手术和化疗，但她仍在发烧，奄奄一息。当时，医院拒绝为她治疗，因为医生与她无关。

我被邀请给她治疗。病人将不久于人世，伴有发烧、口渴、排尿困难、口苦和食欲不振等其他症状。

根据她的介绍，我用了柴苓汤。服用五剂药物后，她的所有症状都大大缓解，十剂之后，患者看起来完全不同了。然后，针对她的病情，制作了一种调制柴苓汤。

服药一个多月后，病情稳定。渐渐地，她的生活又恢复了正常，她又活了十年。

翻译差不多是这个意思，呵。
但原文不是“医院拒绝为她治疗，因为医生与她无关。”，这句话的意思是医生现在已束手无策。
看来英文和伤寒论一样，要究着其字逐一去理解，可能会是另一个意思。
